How we begin

A first conversation

We meet, you share what brought you here, I listen. No cost, no pressure. We see together whether it feels right. If it does, we go on. If it doesn’t, you leave with a clearer sense of what you’re looking for. Both are good.

The foundation

Our first full meeting. Before we move, I want to understand the whole of you — body, breath, mind, what your days look like, what you carry, what hurts, what’s been tried, what you long for. This first session is mostly listening and seeing. From here, everything else is built.

Walking together

From there we walk together, in your rhythm — usually every two to four weeks, or whatever fits your life. What lives in the body has usually lived there a long time; unwinding it asks for the same patience it took to settle in. Each session meets you where you are that day. We continue as long as it asks for.

The foundation

Before any practice begins,
I want to understand the whole picture.

Most help starts with what hurts and tries to fix it. This starts wider. I want to understand how you move, how you breathe, how you sleep, where you carry tension, what stress does in your body, what you’ve lived through, what runs in your family, what you’ve already tried, what’s quietly still there from long ago. You share what you want to share — nothing more. But the more I can see, the better I can meet you, because nothing in you stands alone. The shoulder is connected to the sleep, the sleep to the breath, the breath to the thought, the thought to the story.

The foundation is where I learn you — your particular wiring, your particular life. Everything that comes after is shaped from there.

Why this is different

Nothing is templated

Every session is built fresh for who you are that day. What you needed last month is not what you need now. We meet what’s here.

The whole of you

Body, breath, nerve, thought, feeling, story. We work with all of it — because you are all of it. Treating one layer without the others never goes deep enough.

Yours, not mine

I don’t fix anyone, and I don’t make anything happen to you. I walk alongside, hold up the mirror, remind you of what’s already in you. What you find within yourself, stays.

Alongside, not instead of

This works well next to therapy, medication, or medical care — not in place of them. If something asks for more than this can hold, I’ll tell you honestly and help you find the right hands.
